CERTIFICATE COURSE IN BODY, DANCE AND MOVEMENT FOR VULNERABLE POPULATIONS AND/OR VICTIMS (2013-1014-2015) DIPLOMADO EN CUERPO, DANZA Y MOVIMIENTO PARA POBLACIONES VICTIMAS Y/O VULNERABLES (2013-2014-2015)
This project is performed thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Unidad para la Atencion y Reparacion Integral de las Victimas.
Based on the experiences acquired and the results of the training done in 2011 and 2012 a more extensive and deeper training was designed, where not only municipal school teachers were included but also part of the population that had been directly affected by the armed conflict. This training is guided towards encouraging the inclusion of coexistence and social fabric reconstruction schemes within their work processes as community leaders. The work begins by transforming suffering and empowering self-resources and resilience in individuals and communities.
The 2013 training was done in 5 municipalities: Libertad (Sucre), San Jacinto (Bolivar), Sitio Nuevo (Magdalena), La India (Santander) and Tierralta (Cordoba). We are starting the 2014 process in Apartado, Arauca, Popayan, Valle del Guamuez and Buga.
CERTIFICATION COURSE IN PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF SCHOOL VIOLENCE AND SATYANANDA YOGA® AS A TOOL FOR SCHOOL COEXISTENCE (2013-2014-2015)
This intervention was performed in alliance with the Secretaria de Educacion de Cundinamarca.
Training is directed to coexistence coordinators and psychological counselors from public schools in the Cundinamarca Department. The content seeks to sensitize and make the Law 1216 of 2013 for school coexistence known, as well as encourage the appropriation of simple tools from Yoga to the promotion of healthy school environments. We also aim to offer a space for self-care and self-knowledge for participants to encourage the creation of peace tools in new generations.
