Testimonials

The Shanti program has been implemented in 9 cities across Colombia with youth deprived of liberty in the ICBF juvenile correctional system. Thanks to the project, participants have increased their perception of individual well-being/emotional health, decreased scores in aggression, depression, anxiety, and stress, and have developed internal skills to outline their life project. The project also involves caregivers of the young people we work with. All participants are provided with self-care and care tools, as well as guidelines to support the life project designed by the youth. A mixed impact assessment was conducted in collaboration with the University of Los Andes (Faculty of Psychology) with statistically significant results.

Video produced by the team from the Specialized Care Center (CAE) in Bello, Antioquia.

We are not hares, life stories, deprivation, and hope.
