Who We Are

DUNNA is an Arhuaco word used by the mamus (Colombian cultural sages). It refers to the positive essence of the human being that manifests in physical, mental, and spiritual balance.

Our Origin

Dunna was created in response to the need for new strategies with cost-effective, cost-efficient, and scientifically evaluated approaches to address the challenges posed by the transition to peace in the areas of reparation, mental health, and peaceful coexistence. We are convinced that socio-emotional skills have a decisive impact on people’s lives and are a fundamental pillar for breaking the cycle of violence and achieving sustainable peace.

Our Mission

Our mission is to contribute to the construction of sustainable peace through restorative practices and mind-body strategies aimed at promoting mental health, emotional recovery, and coexistence for populations most affected by various forms of violence.
