Dunna is an Arhuaco word used by the mamus, cultural sages of Colombia. It refers to the positive essence of the human being: a state of physical, mental, and spiritual balance that allows living in harmony with oneself, with others, and with the environment.
Corporación Dunna was founded in response to the need to develop new cost-effective, efficient, and scientifically evaluated strategies to address the challenges brought by Colombia’s transition to peace, especially in areas such as reparation, mental health, and peaceful coexistence.
Over time, we understood that these solutions should not be limited to specific contexts. Processes of healing and transformation must involve all actors within the system: individuals, families, institutions, communities, companies, and the State.
Today, we work to create safer, more regulated environments capable of mutual care.
We work to ensure that future generations inherit a world free of violence, through the design, implementation, and evaluation of mind–body strategies and restorative practices that strengthen individual, relational, organizational, and collective healing.
Corporación Dunna occupies a unique category within the social ecosystem:
Science + practice + social innovation
We integrate scientific rigor with field experience to generate real and sustainable transformations. Our methodologies are based on scientifically validated protocols and more than a decade of accumulated evidence across diverse communities and institutional contexts.
We co-create our methodologies with participants, partners, and territorial teams, ensuring culturally relevant, applicable, and deeply transformative interventions.
Interventions that range from the individual to the entire system
We understand that healing does not occur in isolation. That is why we work simultaneously with individuals, families, communities, organizations, and public and private institutions.
This multilevel approach allows each individual intervention to be reflected in relational, organizational, and community-level changes that reinforce one another.
Measurable and sustainable results
Our programs generate deep and measurable transformations, evaluated through indicators such as emotional regulation, trust, cooperation, and social cohesion.
These results have been replicated across different populations and validated by international cooperation agencies, local governments, educational institutions, and companies.
Mental health, mind–body methodologies, and restorative practices grounded in scientific evidence.
